The British Trust for Conservation Volunteers is registered in England as a charity supporting practical conservation work by volunteers throughout the UK. It supports local groups, runs training courses, and organises working holidays. BTCV also works in many parts of the world. Over 500 Conservation Holidays are organized throughout the UK and abroad every year. Trail projects can be located via the "Natural Break Holidays" link in the very extensive BTCV Web page: www.btcv.org/nb.html. Enter under "Work Type": "Access" and "Footpath Work". Accommodations are usually in local inns.

Local BTCV offices around the UK run one-day conservation projects, many configured for young people aged 16 to 24. Select a BTCV local office by region and county: www.btcv.org/frameadd.html. There is a vast amount of project information available on BTCV Conservation Links: www.btcv.org/links.html.
